To build on REAch2's 11B411 promise of 11 opportunities for pupils that they would not ordinarily experience, we decided to create the 'Tymberwood 11B411 Reading Challenge'. This is 11 books per year group, from Nursery to Year 6, that the children are challenged to read before they move to the next academic year. These texts were chosen by the whole Tymberwood community - children, staff and families - and range from picture books for our younger pupils to longer chapter books for the oldest. Every child receives a bookmark with their year group's books listed and, as they read them, they can bring their bookmark for their teacher to tick off that book. Once all the texts are read, they receive an 11B411 certificate! Children can gain a new certificate each year. Please do look out for our posters to see the texts that we have chosen per year group.
