To understand the similarities and differences between dinosaurs and reptiles.
Today Year One were visited by some reptiles. It was very exciting! We met a Leopard gecko, a Bearded Dragon, a Panther Chameleon, an iguana, a little python, some tortoises, and an enormous Burmese Python.
We learnt how reptiles have evolved from dinosaurs. Evolved means that reptiles have changed so that they are still able to live on Earth even though dinosaurs are extinct. Snakes evolved from dinosaurs by losing their legs!
